The food industry facing the new post covid-19 normality

Abstract
As a result of the critical situation produced by the new COVID-19, Ecuador is facing challenges and needs, the food industry is inherent in the changes of the new normality, which will be established in the de-escalation phase. Carried out a brief analysis of certain aspects of the food industry in general, which it is believed should change, depending on the adaptation to the reality that will have to be lived after the pandemic, aspects such as the supply chain, the value chain, and consumer preferences are addressed from a point of view that invites to analyze and approach of possible new opportunities for entrepreneurship with respect to the consumer in the “Post COVID-19” period.
