Abstract
Currently, new technologies define the way to manage energy, materials and information, in short, the resources of the territory that have to be optimized. However, a random event that arises in a Chinese market rapidly changed the world outlook, thereby rethinking the industrial system and its complexity.
At a global level, industries have been affected by the pandemic, generating economic losses that imply operational challenges, since it was necessary to partially block productive and mobility activities to prevent the spread of the virus. In this sense, the Universidad Tecnológica Indoamérica with the participation of the Industrial Equipment Design Center of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia presented the IV INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION - POST COVID-19 INDUSTRIAL CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES, in order to identify challenges and opportunities in the short and medium term to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 in industries.
