Similarity Detection

All manuscripts submitted to CienciAmérica undergo originality verification using institutional similarity detection tools before or during the evaluation process.

The journal evaluates potential cases of:

• Total or partial plagiarism

• Self-plagiarism

• Uncited use of sources

• Redundant publication

When irregularities are detected, the manuscript is rejected or editorial measures are applied in accordance with the journal's ethical policies.

The journal does not tolerate plagiarism practices at any stage of the editorial process.
