Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must actively participate in the editorial and peer review process, providing timely, accurate, complete, and verifiable information when requested by reviewers or the Editorial Board.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that:
The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal.
All authors have made significant contributions to the work and have approved the final version of the manuscript.
All sources of funding and any potential conflicts of interest have been properly disclosed.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors approve the content of the manuscript and for signing the originality statement.
If authors identify significant errors in their published article, they must immediately notify the Editorial Board in order to proceed with the appropriate correction, retraction, or clarification.
The content of published articles is the sole responsibility of the authors.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively, impartially, confidentially, and constructively, contributing to the improvement of the manuscript’s scientific quality.
Reviewers must:
Declare any conflicts of interest before accepting the review assignment.
Refrain from reviewing manuscripts for which they lack the necessary technical expertise.
Maintain absolute confidentiality of the manuscript.
Not use information obtained during the review process for personal or professional benefit.
Inform the Editor of any suspected cases of plagiarism, duplication, or scientific misconduct.
Responsibilities of Editors
The Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, and the Editorial Board are responsible for ensuring the integrity, transparency, scientific quality, and impartiality of the editorial process.
Editors must:
Make editorial decisions based solely on scientific merit, originality, relevance, and methodological quality of the manuscript, without discrimination based on nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or political beliefs of the authors.
Protect the confidentiality of manuscripts and not disclose information to unauthorized third parties.
Refrain from handling manuscripts in which there is a personal, institutional, academic, or financial conflict of interest.
Ensure a fair, transparent, and unbiased peer review process.
Ensure that the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial judgment.
Take appropriate action when errors, misconduct, or ethical concerns are identified, including issuing corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when necessary.
