Abstract
INTRODUCTION. Industry 4.0 encompasses different technologies, therefore, a system has been developed that uses part of these techniques, in order to use them for the progress and development of SMEs. OBJECTIVE. Design a system for the control and monitoring of processes, which allows planning production in SMEs. METHOD. The control and data acquisition system was carried out with the Ignition SCADA software from Inductive Automation, the database used was MYSQL, the TIA PORTAL software from Siemens was used for the control of the PLC and the simulation of the plant was carried out with the Factory IO software. RESULTS. The developed system allows to acquire the signals of the programmable logic controller and send them to the Ignition OPC-UA server so that it communicates with the SCADA, in turn the height sensor data and the product identifiers are sent to the database. MySQL data. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS. The development of the system with applicable technologies in industry 4.0 has allowed better decision-making, traceability, stock management and storage data for the development of small and medium-sized companies.
