Abstract

As one of the many implications of the health crisis resulting from COVID-19, the one that appears as collateral damage is social isolation which causes most of the habitual and daily behaviors to be altered; within these sexual behavior, perhaps invisible due to the apparent significance of other human needs .; In this way, certain sexual behaviors can be distinguished, which in some cases have been reinforced, such as the consumption of pornography, sexting and masturbation, and in other cases, have been reduced as the frequency of sexual relations in couples who maintain prolonged contact. Likewise, there has been evidence of an increase in sexual violence in some homes where it was already present before the pandemic.
